For years my preferred hotel in the Latvian capital Rīga – the Hotel AVALON in the 13th janvara iela on the edge of the old town – with an excellent connection to public transport and very well furnished rooms. Excellent service around the clock. Very good bar, whose bartenders are always good for inside information. The restaurant is also excellent!

The NOVOTOL Vilnius has the perfect location on the Gediminas prospectus. It is only a few minutes’ walk to the cathedral, the Annen Church, Gediminas Castle and the old town. The modern district of Šnipiškės is also just a few minutes’ walk away. Nearby there are shopping centers, restaurants of all price ranges and the drama theater. The rooms are very spacious and tastefully decorated. Perfect for staying in Vilnius.
